ECNO Executive Director Wayne Toms has announced his retirement effective December 31, 2025. Wayne shared his decision with the Board of Directors and ECNO members at the June Conference.
This marks the close of a remarkable chapter in Wayne’s career—one that spans over four decades of dedicated service to education, including more than 25 years of impactful leadership with ECNO. While we are thrilled for Wayne as he embarks on this well-deserved next chapter, we will deeply miss his visionary leadership, strategic insight, and unwavering commitment to our mission. Wayne has been a guiding force through pivotal moments in ECNO’s evolution. His energy, integrity, and kindness have left an indelible mark on our organization and on Ontario’s Ed-Tech sector.
The Board of Directors has begun the search for ECNO’s next Executive Director. We anticipate sharing the job posting in late July and encourage all members to consider and share this opportunity with qualified candidates.
